Wrong Way Car Accidents

In September 2018, three people died after a two-vehicle crash involving a wrong-way driver in Union City, South Fulton, Georgia.  One of the victims was driving the wrong way on South Fulton Parkway, Georgia. More recently, a suspected drunk driver wrong way driver caused a major accident driving the wrong way on the I-75 express lanes.

Often times, alcohol is a factor in wrong-way crashes.  Injuries caused by a drunk driver in a car accident are entitled to punitive damages. In Gwinnett, there was a wrong-way driver who had injected herself with powerful sedatives just before causing a major accident on GA. 316. She drove 3 miles in the wrong direction while multiple drivers called 911.  She hit another vehicle head on and caused serious injuries.
